Paul Cadmus
Sotheby's recently auctioned this 1960s Paul Cadmus work
for $11,000 which was 63% above the pre-sale estimate.
Really amazing artist and such a wide variety of works. Always amazed me. Love the tone and feeling of this one. Feel some of his work was ground breaking for when it was made.
There is a quiet beauty to this. I love his work, one the the most important artists of the 20th century I would say.
