Western Photography Guild

Our last man in an armchair is by Don Whitman of Western Photography Guild.
I don't have a name for the handsome model, but perhaps someone knows.
Everyone's grandmother had one of those throws in the 1970s.

  1. Gracious! Miss Magnolia Thunderpussy would have been in conniptions over this one. Those floral curtains, the floral upholstery and THAT throw, all together! *clutches pearls* Oh, well, the sight of the young gentleman might just have been enough of a salve to ameliorate her 'turn'.

Thanks for this great series , Jerry! I'm all chuffed that my simple suggestion provided such fodder for your imagination. Cheers!

    1. My pleasure, Brian! And yes, MMTP would have gone apoplectic over the decor in this one. The man, however, she could appreciate.

  2. What a fun set this was! The guy makes up for all those textures, too bad it was not in color! Enjoyed this one Jerry.

    1. Color might have made me dizzy, something I need no help with, lol. Glad you liked the set.

  4. I have no positive ID, but I was wondering if he might be Walt Needham.

    1. I see what you mean, but Mr. Needham never worked for WPG.

  5. Oh yes, everyone had that back in the day. And some still do. What a great series. Great photos and comments.

  6. Bobby Colosso - I have one photo of him standing in front of that granny throw-covered chair!
