Back Cover
The back cover of Male Nudist Portfolio No. 11 features a guy with oiled hair staring straigh at us.
Many thanks once again to jstrand for providing today's images.
I've seen it in at least one other publication that came out about the same time. The backstory is that federal appellate courts in xome regions of the USA (most notably Chicago, thanks to Chuck Renslow) had made such rulings. It was not, however, a done deal yet as some regions (mainly the South, imagine that), so there could still be problems in some places. The blurb was to encourage vendors to sell the things.
This was very interesting to view since I have never seen any of these photos before! It does happen now and again. And for the record there was nothing obscene about any of them. Lol. Thanks Jerry!
LoL ! The guy that had to see if physique mags met community standards, must have ended up with tired eyes and hands….:) Interesting mag series thanx to you and jstrand.
This is Phil Sabatio by J. Brian
ReplyDeleteThanks for the information!
DeleteThe surname is Sabatino. He is purportedly the brother of Tony Sabatino.

DeleteSo certain photos were "declared not obcene" by a federal court? Really? Never saw that declaration in any stroke book LOL-Dee Exx

ReplyDeleteI'm surprised because I had seen some of them.
DeleteLove the idea that it was someone's job to determine some of these were not obscene and "stamp" them accordingly :-)
ReplyDeleteYes, and it leaves me wondering about all the ones that apparently were NOT approved by a judge.
DeleteLoL !
