The September, 1943 edition of Strength and Health featured Al Urban's strategically retouched photo of Jules Bacon.  I have to wonder if Urban was trying to excite or impress the viewers because the posing strap he drew in was about twice as large as it needed to be to cover the goods.  

In my opinion, Bacon certainly didn't need to have his package exaggerated.  Oh, well.
