Comments use is up . . . and that's good.
Just a reminder to you all to pay attention to the comments feature here on Blogger. Lately there has been an uptick in both the quantity and quality of comments on some of the photos I post, and I have to give my viewers credit for their knowledge and taste in what they add. As a rule, I edit posts to include identifying information on models or photographers found in comments, but some viewers put some amazing and interesting detail into their comments that I can't edit into the original post. Also, the format for comments here on blogger allows replies to specific comments, resulting in some interesting conversations among viewers and myself.
So, always check the line just above the labels at the bottom of each photo. If there there is a number followed by the word "Comments," someone has posted, and you can see it by clicking on the spot. If it says "No Comments," no one has made one yet, and you can start the conversation by clicking on "No Comments" and typing your thoughts.
Yes, sometimes people post the equivalent of grunts or wolf whistles, but that's OK, too. Viewer response is not only interesting, but it gives me feedback on how I'm doing. It's all good.
