Another pose

Heavier and hairier than Cocteau's usual models, this guy appeared
in a different pose in an earlier Cocteau series.  I actually like this one better.

  1. The hairiness is very attractive, isn't it? He looks like he is circumcised. Does he appear that way in the other drawing?

  2. Cocteau was a brilliant artist was he not?
No doubt you've seen the film Querelle which is the whole Cocteau world come to life in glorious technicolor.

    1. Truly brilliant, and not just when it came to drawings. I have not, alas, seen Querelle. I need to find a DVD. Amazon?

    2. Dear God! You must see this film. It's stunning. The incomparably hot Brad Davis stars in it, along with Jeanne Moreau, Franco Nero and a host of others. It's very theatrical looking--as I mentioned, it's the whole Cocteau world brought to life. And are you ready? The director is Fassbinder. I looked it up and apparently it's playing on HBO Max. I even watched it again on TCM and they showed everything. It's very sexy. Let me know when you see it. xo

    3. OK, now I'm working even harder on this. Fassbinder was brilliant!

  3. I know how much you admire Fassbinder. That's why I couldn't wait to reveal this added "bonus" to the Querelle revelation. They're asking a great deal of money for the DVD on amazon because it's so old.

But it has played for free on Turner Classic Movies and it's supposedly on HBO MAX which you could subscribe to for a month for $15.00 and that would be that.
