Holiday Reading

Our last picture isn't a card, but everyone needs a good book to snuggle up with during the holidays.  This late 60s classic of American literature could be had for less than a dollar.

  4. This is a lovely, fun series to get us in the Christmas spirit. I'd also like to say a big thank you, Jerry, for all your hard work. I'm so pleased to have discovered the site this year and look forward to each day's posting. The breath of photographs, artwork and topics you cover is excellent. The knowledge, enthusiasm, humour and general input from the regular correspondents is also what makes this a great site. Wishing you and all your viewers a very Happy Christmas.

    Peter

  6. Another great series AND year, Jerry! Your blog was often the only highlight of the day these last few years. Your links to your friends blogs, of a similar nature, was nice and often uplifting (pun intended), too. You’ve managed to foster a sense of community here, especially for those of us who like to comment. I’m looking forward to another (yes uplifting) year from you and all us commentators.
