Here we see Chuck Massey again in a promotional piece where his crotch has been crudely marked out. Quite a few physique photographers did this in the 1940s and 50s, but most of them were more artful, drawing on thongs or posing straps. Courtny was a trade name Palatinus used.
He looks pissed off. Could he have objected to posing naked?
ReplyDeleteSome physique photographers went for a tough guy look, and this might be his effort in that direction. There's a reason only a handful of physique models went on to be even marginally successful actors.
