An old favorite


This 1939 photo by Earle Forbes of five men on Fire Island is one of my alltime favorites.

    I like this, too. But is it possible that these men were NOT homosexuals? Back then, heterosexual men were not ashamed of being naked together.

      Earle Forbes was gay, and what little we know says his models were a mixed lot. It's quite possible that some or all of these men were hetero.
