Bucket man
I had a friend in the 70s whose interior decorator used the same
diagonal rough cedar planks on his living room walls.
Yes, Americans are well blessed with various cedars, which is a lovely wood to work with and very useful... Its beautiful scent keeps moths and all sorts of creepy crawlies away. That is a great 70s image in all respects.
Uh, yeah. The wood paneling was what I checked out first, and most closely.
