It's time for another Hippie Day, and we start with a group of Yippies at a 1969 demonstration. Actually, they called it the Counter-Inaugural Ball, and the photo is by Rowland Scherman.
Yippie was derived from the radical Youth International Party, a short lived movement.
Yippies. Now there's a memory. The older adults were terrified of them.
