Early 19th C.
Louis-Leopold Boilly painted "In the Studio of Houdon" about 1803. Houdon was a sculptor
as shown, but interestingly there are two students who appear to be drawing the model.
Another well lit one. With these I assume, certain artists would expect to be included, yet we also have the artist looking directly at us, and the model's clothes. Nothing changes, I always stack mine on a nearby chair. Love all the busts and sculpture examples. Note how close the central sculptor is to the model.
