Has to be American
This Worle War II GI is being quintessentiallyAmerican and washing his Jeep.
I've seen (and enjoyed) other photos of naked GIs washing a jeep that's in the water like this. I wonder if it's the same photo series, or maybe it was a fad (heh). If it was a fad, let's hope it catches on again.
There are other photos from this session which I believe to have been from WWII New Guinea. I have similar photos from Korea, so maybe it was established practice by them
