The exercise the model did in all those photo sessions apparently paid off, as he seems
noticeably slimmer in this and some other photos than in most. Of course I don't
know which were taken first, so he might have gained weight over time.
I think he's pulling a lawn roller in this image. Clearly a powerfully built man..I do hope he would be pleased that some 140 years later we are still admiring him...I know I would..
