Oscar? Not really.

My first glance at this statuesque desert model brought
the word "Oscar" into my mind, but it isn't exactly the same pose.

  1. Wow. A stunning physique. As here best viewed nude.

  2. Years ago, when I did nude swimming, I knew a guy built like this. Naturally broad shoulders and narrow hips. He put on muscle easily, was about 5 foot, perfectly proportioned. In clothes, you'd never know he was an Adonis.

    1. It amazing how many of the physique models I find perfectly proportioned turn out to have been really short men.

    2. Yes, I noted quite a few. Am I right in thinking, both of my all-time favourite duo, Jack Lalanne and Jack Thomas were short men?

    3. I just looked up Lalanne, and he was 5'6".

    4. This conversation has been very reaffirming for me (5'6"). I love you guys ... lol.

      BTW, loved today's selection, Jerry.

    5. Jack LaLanne was short, my aunt's husband sold Jack a used 1950 Cadillac Convertible. He came to their house dressed all in black to look at the car and they were surprised by his stature. He had just signed his first TV contract for his exercise show (His show had been on radio in the San Francisco area at that time ca. 1952-53) and he wanted a Caddy. They both told me pleasant man Jack was.

  3. To obscure a model’s height, it’s a well known practice to position the camera at thigh or hip level. Mae West refused to be photographed any other way. It’s not uncommon to read stories about how short (5’ 1” or 2””) she was in real life.

    1. I'm sure a lot of well known figures have insisted on this method.
