Brian Hatton
Although listed on a well curated website as academic, I find it unusual
that a landscape background appears in this piece by Brian Hatton.

I wonder if it was painted outdoors, or if the artist painted a background from his imagination.
ReplyDeleteIf it really was an academic piece, it was most likely done indoors because the academies provided instruction as the work was done in class.
