Frank "Pistol Pete" Eaton
Born in Connecticut, but raised in Kansas, Frank "Pistol Pete" Eaton was a crack shot and an Oklahoma sheriff who eventually became the mascot of Oklahoma State University.
Through marriages, he's my 6th cousin, twice removed.
