This is obviously a reenactment of Myron's Discobolus, and my file name indicates
that it is from the LIFE Archive. Google Images search, however, came up blank.
Yes. As you know, this pose is a real killer. If done as a life pose, it is actually easier to have some weight, otherwise the arm tends to wave about.
That is an odd discus. Very thin, almost like cardboard. Nicely posed though.
