Cellini

An ornate salt cellar by Benvenuto Cellini from 1542 caught my eye from across the large gallery room where I found it, despite being dwarfed by other objects in the space.  For our purposes, this is the best angle I could photograph it from, but Google it, and you'll see how fine it is all around.

    1. I know. I couldn't get a good view of him without her being in there.

  2. It is an amazing work. But, as you saw, very small. I saw it as a bored 14-year-old in 1974!
