George O'Brien
This 1927 photo is of George O'Brien, one of those rare movie stars whose career
success spanned both the silent and talking eras. Those shorts may seem skimpy,
I have a few of his artistic nude photos that show off his attributes quite nicely. No full frontals but that doesn't matter he looks spectacular all the same!
I may need to give him his own series as he may be the earliest (and longest career duration) example of a movies star whose beefcake potential was realized and used. He began appearing shirtless in 1924.
Apparently George also played for our team.
