The picture quality in this shot from 1930 isn't very good.
Arc et flèche. Somewhat dynamic, the image no doubt a poor copy of a finer image. The landscape resembles the strands of the Baltic Sea or perhaps Rügen Island popular with nudistes.

The magazine versions of these photos were almost always of lesser quality than the originals until well into the 1930s.
