Sandow Ad
Eugen Sandow appeared in a remarkable ad for Prof. Desbonnet's gym.
Incroyable Sandow, a fine example of advertising by Desbonnet. At one time Desbonnet had 200 gyms across Europe. Desbonnet believed in a sound mind in a sound body, in part in the French belief of Liberté, Egalité et Fraternité. :)

Sandow had his own training system and gym, and his appearance in Prof. Desbonnet's ad is indicative of the fraternal nature of the fitness movement.
