I had a friend in college who looked a lot like this guy,
and he liked to hang out naked at Hippie Hollow, too. Hmmm . . .
Barton Springs is an interesting geological feature, but the water is way too cold compared to Lake Travis in the summer. Austin became the Never-Never Land for hippies who didn't want to grow up, and most of the ones I knew who stayed there never did.
My friends and I all looked like that in the 70's. Having long hair didn't make us hippies, it just made us fashionable. It was the "peace, love, and drugs" lifestyle that made someone a hippie.
Une belle époque où la nudité n'était pas considérée comme un vice.

A good time when nudity was not considered a vice.

DeleteI was a Barton Springs kind of guy.
