Color version
A couple of years ago, I posted a monochrome version of this photo.
The line-up is interesting, and only the center guy managed a smile.
Why was overexposure such a huge problem in the 60s and 70s? No seriously, even family photos from that era look overexposed. I have never seen a properly developed photo from that time. Is it just the film?
It was a common issue that has been aggravated by the way these photos have aged. Some of them looked better when they were fresh and new, but many did not. A combination of the film, the processing, and even sometimes the paper is generally the cause. There are some beautiful color photos from that era, but what most of us see from that time are either amateur home efforts or cheap magazine reproductions.
Great to see this is colour. A celebration of young men, who being naked tend to, er hang like that. I'm several of us will remember being like that...
That man on the right really has a much bigger reason to smile, but the smiling male is damned handsome.
ReplyDeleteYeah, the other two actually look somewhat sullen.
DeleteShall we call them the Gol'dick'locks?
ReplyDeleteThere is always one size which just rigth...
Something for everyone . . .
