Knockoff or Not?
I found this unlabeled in my boating files, and I'm not sure if it is a 1900s Italian photo or a later knockoff. There was a guy making a living a while back imitating von Gloeden.
I believe this pic was taken by an Italian photographer, Tony Patrioli, who died in Brescia Italy, on July 29, 2017. This photo (along with a few others) appeared in the Italian edition of Pride Magazine, January 2016 (page 13). Since I don't know the italian language, I'm not sure what the article says about Patrioli.
Not too nautical, but nice.
ReplyDeleteWhether it's 1900s or later this is a great photo. The model is gorgeous and I love that dreamy, faraway look.

You've shown this one before, and I'm definitely not complaining. This kid is amazing in so many ways that I missed the boat!

Yeah, that's the guy I was thinking of. Thanks!
