POWs
These are Japanese prisoners of war taken by the Australians in the last days of World War II.
They already look well fed, and now they will be squeaky clean.

From what I have learned about Japanese P.O.W. and internment camps, things were considerably less kind.
ReplyDeleteOh, is that ever true. I have photos of American and British Empire prisoners of the Japanese that I can't post. They're that awful.
