George Daniell (1911-2002) is a photographer I came across while recently researching Herb Ritts. I really like what I have found of his work so far. Born in Youkers, NY, Mr. Daniell was traumatized as a child when his father committed suicide at the family dinner table. I had seen the photo above before, but didn't know it was his. It is dated at 1955, but I haven't found the model's name.
Cruel thing for his father to do! This young man is gorgeous.
