Man in the Park is my favorite among today's Peter Hujar photos.

Hardly! I have this in a book of his work and have often toyed with the idea of framing it as a companion to his portrait of Candy Darling. I read it is one of three photos he took of men cruising in Stuyvesant Square Park. I absolutely love this one.

The man's expressiona and body language tell it all.
I like the fact that allowing Hujar to photograph him is not getting in the way of what he is there for.

I'm wrong, but I'd swear this is a still from a movie I've seen. Yes, it is also my favorite of this series. Good work, as always.
