Von Gloeden Day
It's been over seven months since I did a complete series on the work of von Gloeden,
so I'll try to make up for lost time. We start with two men in the mountains.
As ever, often the hair and features of the models seem to have some semblance to figures in Roman art.
ReplyDeleteYes, that was von Gloeden's trademark, and we seem to see it more often than not. Contemporary pastoral scenses come in at a distant second place.
DeleteI not only find his work aesthetically beautiful there is such an elegance to it. I really enjoyed this one set!
