Bruce at the Beach, Part 1 - Nudes

It's a Bruce of LA double feature today, and both halves are beach photos.
I was surprised at how few fully nude beach shots were in my Bruce collection, and then
I realized that nudity wasn't allowed at beaches easily accessible from LA in the 1950's.
We start with Joe Tiffenbach in a rather straightforward pose.
Edited to add:  This classic photo caused me to research Joe Tiffenbach's life,
and it turned out to be quite interesting.  He will be the subject of
my first "whatever happened to . . . " series coming soon.

  5. word suggestion pick up the wrong word. What I meant to say ...Looking forward to the "whatever happened series". some had interesting lives and others just seemed to disappear...probably many into married lives with families.

    1. The last part is especially true, especially when it come to models from before the late 1960's. The first thing that usually comes up when I do a genealogy search is a marriage to a woman. Most of these guys were hetero, but many of them also know the pictures were being pitched to gays.
