Just a bit
We only get to see a glimpse of the package on this unknown model.
Men started swimming topless at public beaches and pools around 1930, and by the 1940s it was quite normal to do so. There were some holdout prudish areas, though. I think I have a late 30s picture of Bob Hope being ticketed by a cop for doing so. Can't remember where, but maybe Atlantic City?
Interesting tan lines. Weren't they still wearing those ridiculous "onesie" men's bathing suits back then?
