The always helpful Larry K. now has his own blog at https://unashamedmale.blogspot.com/ ,
but he continues to generously help me with photo contributions. Today we look at some early 20th Century photos that are quite diverse, and the first shows a man displaying his fists prominently. Disclosure: I removed yellowing and increased contrast for a clearer image.
He looks like he is trying to emulate a classical statue.
ReplyDeletePosition assez curieuse qu'a ce modèle... Je pense qu'il n'a pas remarqué que son partenaire était retourné au vestiaire Lol

Quite curious position this model has ... I think he did not notice that his partner had returned to the locker room Lol
It is odd, but I like it.
DeleteMagical. Sometime around 1900 this pale young man, I'm guessing already an art model, volunteered for this photograph. Lovely..
ReplyDeleteI find it a good photo, too, and maybe part of the charm is wondering about exactly what he was pretending to do.
DeleteI think it is just a tension/stretch pose. As usual with these a strong sense of affinity across the years.
DeleteI'd love to see more of him.
