"John" looks like someone we'd like to have seen more of.
John Tristram was an English immigrant to the U.S.(NYC area) in the early to mid 50's. He was born in 1935 in the English countryside and left for the U.S. as a teenager. It was in NYC where he started bodybuilding and nude modeling. He left for California in the mid to late 1950's. It's unclear whether he finished his college degrees in NY or LA, but he was faculty at UCLA where he taught French. He continued with his bodybuilding and nude modeling during this time period. He modeled for several photographers during his career, and died of complications from HIV in 1985.
That's British bombshell John Tristram aka Forrester Millard's longtime companion. John got a lot of attention in many Physique Pictorial issues.
ReplyDeleteOK, then I have seen more of him. Thanks, James.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the info, Greggy! Quite interesting, even with the sad ending.
DeleteHe taught French language and literature at LA City College, not UCLA.
DeleteHe also made a three-way short for Jim French/COLT in the 70's.
-RJ in the IE
And the pentagram means...?
ReplyDeleteActually, that's a star (technically not a pentagram unless it's open) and it means the subject is extremely affable.
