Various states of clothed, Part 2 - Men in Overalls

Am I the only one who finds working men in overalls amazingly sexy?  If so, many of you may be bored by the second half of todays double feature.  We start Part 2 with this 1939 shot of a mason in overalls and a straw hat working with stone.  He was probably in the Works Progress Administration, a Depression era jobs program that photographically documented much of the work done.

  1. You are not alone. I'm crazy about working men in overalls. I think that is why I continue to watch rural and farm-set TV series like "Green Acres" and "Petticoat Junction." I'm also always on the lookout for a black and white film set on a farm or ranch.

  2. You don't usually wear anything with overalls. The point is to wear something but not stain other clothes.

    1. Overalls were originally meant to be worn "over all" one's regular clothes. At some point fairly early on, men stopped wearing pants under bib overalls, but kept wearing shirts. Some men in the deep South would wear nothing but bib overalls when it was hot, and some gays adopted that as a fetishist look for a brief time.
