Bud Counts Day

Bud Counts (1929-1996) was a competitive bodybuilder from 1950-55, but some say his career was held back by his comparatively short stature of 5'8".  The best he managed to do was second place in the 1954 Mr. Los Angeles competition.  After that, he turned to wrestling, but meanwhile he had a very successful modeling career posing for Bob Mizer of AMG, Dave Martin, Bruce of LA, and possibly others.  Today I'm featuring 10 of his photos, beginning with this nice one by Dave Martin.

  1. He's handsome as the devil. It's sad the they held his height against him. Does this photo seem "old." iI do like the visible hair on his legs, and his bush.

    1. I don't think the height would be as much of a problem these days, but he would have to make his body look grotesque to win.

  2. Je sais que ce n'est pas beau de se moquer, mais tout ces 'beaux' hommes ne sont pas très bien équipé entre les jambes. De beaux muscles, mais des petites bites ! LOL

I know it's not nice to laugh, but all these 'handsome' men are not very well equipped between the legs. Nice muscles, but small cocks! LOL

    1. Well, they're all the same guy, so that's one thing. Not everyone can be well endowed in that area.

    2. I was talking about the very muscular men in general Jerry.

    3. Oh, I think you may have a point then. Of course, the big muscles tend to throw other elements out of proportion sometimes.

  3. I don't think it's fair to criticize Bud's endowment without seeing a photo of him erect. Plenty of us only look impressive when we get excited. Besides, the whole point of this beautiful man's nudes is to celebrate his impressive body. While some of us might have better endowments than Bud's, I seriously doubt any of us would stand naked next to a nude Bud Counts under any circumstances. Perspective is important.
