This is from the St. Mary's College Naval pre-flight school induction process.
This set has the cadet's name and some other info edited out,
but I used it anyway because he is just so damn good looking.
I wonder if anyone else can suggest a reason for 3 apparently mismatched tan lines on the same day. Not quite as clear, but the tan lines from his socks don't match either.
Too bad he's wearing that jock. What are the lines?
ReplyDeleteProbably some measurement or aligning aid, and you'd be amazed how popular jockstraps are around here.
DeleteDespite the dates given, it appears that the photos (at least the left and center) were not taken at the same time: the tan lines do not agree.
ReplyDeleteMaybe he was more tanned on on side than the other?
DeletePerhaps, but look at the right image. It looks like the tan line matches neither of the others. Unless it's not the same guy. Quite strange.
DeleteThe more I look at it, the more I think you may be onto something, but I can't figure out why they would change the date.

DeleteWow, the socks are particularly different in the right side image.
DeleteI had not heard of St. Mary's College, but, once again, you add something new to my vintage ... pleasure dome. Thanks, as always.
ReplyDeleteMy pleasure, Leroy!
