The other day I was looking at the beautifully calligraphed letter Albert the Gay Belgian sent me via the real Post Office last year. It made me think how lucky I am to have this blog and to know some of you viewers. So today, I have a special homage to Albert. No, not calligraphy. Just some photos of a certain part of the male anatomy he fancies a lot. We start with tan lines from AMG.

ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Dan!
DeleteWaaahhh!,
DeleteI have never stopped marvelling at the eclectic nature of AMG backgrounds and props, perhaps best described as Hollywood Regency on crac. Just look at that orb atop the column. I know it's not what I should be looking at and once you've seen a Fabergé egg, you've seen them all, but it would give even Ludwig II of Bavaria a headache.
ReplyDeleteRight. Mizer's stage sets ranged from the utterly tacky to something approaching Hollywood movies . . . usually more toward the tacky end. He did, however, produce an amazing range of work in that regard that actually influenced later, more sophisticated work.

Thank you for this special attention to me, dear Jerry.
Too bad I don't speak English (only French). I love sending beautiful handwritten letters by post, like the one I sent to you, over there at the end of the world...
Your beautiful letter is in my treasure collection, and your friendship is a treasure in my heart.
