Jack and Johnny

This is from a cowboy themed spread in Chuck Renslow's pioneering mid-60s magazine, Rawhide.
With Jack Stanford on the left and Johnny Amati at right, no one should complain about the quality of the models.  The photo shoot, however, was done at an Illinois corn farm with props that included a BB gun and some hats and ropes that came right out of a Woolworth's dime store.
Used by kind permission of copyright holder, Leather Archives and Museum of Chicago.

  1. Despite the cheesiness of the shoot, both men are well lighted and casually posed. Mr. Amati is a 3 H man...though Mr. Stanford was hardly cheated in the dick department.

    1. Like I said, no complaints about the quality of the models. As you know, I have a thing about cheesy cowboy themed props that I can't get past.

  2. From Kris film The Hired Hand released in 1968. The still photos were used to promote this gem.

    1. Another film! There were more stills in that magazine than Bob Mizer ever used to promote one of his movies. I think Renslow was playing both angles and doing so quite well.
