Brawny
Brian sent me a fabulous collection of pictures of the AMG model known only as "Brawny."
I've posted nearly all of them, but held back this posing strap number until now.
The model's name was JOHN CHAPMAN and he posed for Bob Mizer in 1969. He was never mentioned in PP. He made a short posing film for Mizer in 1969 but I doubt it was ever released. It explains why there are so many photos of him. He was the 1st of 2 JOHN CHAPMANs at AMG. There was a 2nd JOHN CHAPMAN in the 1980s but he was a different Man and no relation. Mizer filmed over 3000 short films and only a small fraction made it to distribution. Because of the short film JOHN CHAPMAN made in 1969 we have many photos of him to see.
I like the angle of this shot. His shoulders are remarkable, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteThey always look good, but the angle here makes them even better.

DeleteThe one that got away. Still searching (infrequently) for a name.
ReplyDeleteI've given up, but I'll be happy if someone succeeds.
DeleteYeah, we'd all love to have a name for Brawny (I got the name from James).
DeleteThanks for reminding me that James came up with that name, Brian.
DeleteIt's a great name for a brawny dude.
