This desert vista features a statuesque Vince Gironda by Russ Warner.
Wow. Another technically beautiful photo, the way Vince is centered between those rock formations and his pose against the sky with the clouds. Plus, IMHO, there is nothing like black and white when it's developed properly. This is very similar to that great Douglas of Detroit photo of Vic Seipke on a Michigan beach that you posted several weeks back.but I don't recall ever seeing Vince before. A handsome more mature man with a terrific physique.
I agree with everything you say about this picture, and unfortunately I only have a few photos of Vince. (His hair style does resemble Vic Seipke's, doesn't it?) Russ Warner photographed a number of successful competitive bodybuilders, and I'm certain that Vince was in that group.
