This William Etty unfinished piece probably represents a wounded comrade motif.
It is rather odd. Unsure of the lower half of the composition? But more or less completes the top part? I wonder who the two models were? As with all his male nudes I think there is a haunted quality, as if there is more than meet the eye. Gorgeous though, like the right hand model's hair cut.
As with several Etty's, unfinished, yet there is so much excellent work there. Those torsos are particularly fine.
