We've had several discussions in the comments over the years as to how fig leaves might have been attached. The left side of this composite I made is literal evidence that at least one photographer or model used string for that purpose. At some point someone came along and got rid of the string, but it would take a technical expert to tell us if that was done by retouching back in the day or by modern photoshopping. I'm pretty sure, however, that nobody went back and put the sting in.
The 'sting' in the tail, perhaps? :-)
ReplyDeleteI've got to stop writing these lengthy captions late at night.
DeleteCes photos me font rire, j'ai tout de suite pensé au covid-19 en voyant ces photos... LOL

These photos make me laugh, I immediately thought of covid-19 when I saw these photos ... LOL
I missed a great opportunity there, didn't I?
DeleteI've seen some fig leaves have a bit of string in the middle, which suggests that it was looped around the member to hold it on. The photographer must have had fun attaching that.
ReplyDeleteI don't think they had fluffers back then, so it was either the photographer or the model himself who did it.
