Studio Duo
Earle Forbes only did a few studio shots with more than one model.
Dan did have a brother who was, sadly, killed in World War II. He was named Morris, however, and the guy at right does resemble him. I looked up this picture on WorthPoint, and the seller said he was not certain on the ID. Maybe he had the family name right, but not the given?
The Shadow on both men, much to my pleasure. Is it just me, or do Earl's full frontal all seem to be straight-on (no pun intended) naked...no "poses?"
ReplyDeleteI captured this picture some time back, and the fellow on the right was listed as Terry Lurie. Dan's brother? No name for the other guy.

DeleteP.S. I posted a picture of Dan and Morris together. You can click on Dan's label at right and see if you think it's Morris in both pictures.

No, it was not normal to trim the pubic hair at that time. I think it may only appear that they did.
