Undated and unsure
Here we have a work that is undated, and I'm not even sure it's early 20th C.
Maybe it's the white socks that are throwing me off. How long have those been around?
I assume sportsmen have been wearing socks like that since the late 19th century? The taut cloth background looks early. But the knee pad from the chair, 20s?
