David Kopay
In an earlier George Dureau series, I mentioned that he had photographed David Kopay,
the first professional football player to come out as gay. Here's an example.
It brings to mind the painting: Study (Young Male Nude Seated Beside the Sea) (French: Jeune Homme nu assis au bord de la mer, figure d'étude) by Hippolyte Flandrin. I have a print of it hanging above my computer! It's an oft-repeated pose/composition.
I really like that pose, it frames his penis so appealingly!!!
