Big One
Our first winner has an impressively large trophy.
Maybe he got it for his beard, something unusual at the time.
Beard's were still rare when this was made, with Bohemian types being most likely to sport one. My mother was very disapproving when my seventh grade English teacher's husband showed up at a school function with one. He was a poet whose career never went anywhere.
I'm so glad we live in a beard era. I know I'd look rubbish without mine. Perhaps a musician or scientist? It nicely complements his body fur.
