I can't imagine what they would need a net for at a swimming pool.
In high school, we played a sort of waterborne volleyball using a net. And, by the way, our swimming classes were all naked. Maybe they had it at this camp.
That is the way all school swimming classes should be. In some parts of the country this was very common, but in other places NEVER. Some people don't believe that this ever happened. There is much controversy about whether the boys ever had swim meets in front of mixed audiences.

DeleteOur entire school system had no pool,.
DeleteThere was never mixed swim meets at our school. At the boy's meets, some guys were naked, some wore jocks or trunks. Mothers were not admitted, btw.

DeleteWhen I was in high school I wasn't even aware that some schools had swimming pools.
