Billy Hill wasn't just a championship level bodybuilder and a great model known for his winning smile. He was also a very decent man who became Alan Stone's assistant and caregiver. During Mr. Stone's arthritic flareups, Mr. Hill would sometimes literally carry him to remote photo shoot locations. Above, we see him in an indoor location, but it was outdoors where he really shone.
Holy mackerel! What a body!
ReplyDeleteNo doubt Hill was proud of his physique and manhood. And didn’t almost every home in the 1960s have those tall home decor bottles….:)
ReplyDeleteYeah, i remember those bottles. Nobody I knew ever put anything in them.
DeleteI think this photo is by Jimmy Caruso.
ReplyDeleteI had to look up Mr. Caruso, who is apparently best known for photographing Arnold Schwarzenegger in his early days. I couldn't find any frontal nudes of Mr. Hill by him, nor any other models.
DeleteI have already seen a more modest photo taken in the same setting signed Caruso in an old The Young Physique magazine.
DeleteI don't really like overly bloated bodies, but here, this musculature is perfect. Very beautiful smiling photo.
ReplyDeleteThere is a nice balance here.
DeleteBilly Hill also posed for Tony Lanza and maybe other photographers.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
