Churned ground
Although it doesn't look like these men are bathing in a shellhole.
the ground around there seems churned up by artillery fire.
I like this one. The guy on the right — and his thighs — looks especially intriguing.

DeletePart of the appeal, IMHO, is that there's no hint of sex here...it's just men bathing in a way that was not unusual back then.
