Afrika Korps
Lots of Germans in today's series, probably because they were not only quite happy to swim nude,
but also not bothered by being photographed while doing it. These men are Afrika Korps.
While we all think of North Africa as desert, there is a narrow coastal strip along the Algerian and Tunisian coasts that gets over a meter of rain per year. There are some smalls streams there, and of course there are oases in the drier parts.
look at them smiling and having fun, naked together, if my father was alive, he might throw me in the military too, he was veteran soldier and experience life and death when he was serving the country
I wonder where this was taken. From what I've seen and read of the Africa campaign, it was incredibly dry...
